Welcome to Backmart ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions apply to your access and use of our website at backmartbd.com, our mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, browsing our catalog, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

• "Customer" refers to any individual who registers for an account or makes a purchase on the Platform
• "Products" refers to electronics, gadgets, accessories, and any other items listed for sale on the Platform
• "Order" refers to a request made by a Customer to purchase one or more Products through the Platform
• "Pre-Order" refers to an order placed for a Product that is not yet in stock and will be sourced from international suppliers

To make a purchase, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Keeping your contact information up to date
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions, specifications, and images. However:

• Product images are for illustration purposes and may differ slightly from the actual product in color or appearance due to screen settings
• All prices are listed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated
• We reserve the right to update prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed
• In the rare event of a pricing error, we will notify you and offer to cancel the order or proceed at the correct price

When you place an order on Backmart:

1. Your order is received and a confirmation email or SMS is sent to you
2. We verify product availability and payment
3. Once confirmed, your order is processed and shipped within the stated timeframe
4. You can track your order status through your account dashboard

• Bank transfer (BEFTN/NPSB)
• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX)
• Cash on Delivery (COD) — available for orders under BDT 50,000 within Dhaka

We reserve the right to cancel orders suspected of fraud, resale activity, or violation of our terms.

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to logos, text, images, graphics, product descriptions, software, and design — is the property of Backmart or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Bangladesh.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our written consent
• Product names and brand logos belong to their respective manufacturers and are used for identification purposes only
• User-submitted reviews and content grant Backmart a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content

We are not responsible for:

• Delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions
• Third-party service interruptions affecting payment processing or delivery
• Misuse, unauthorized modification, or improper handling of products after delivery

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted on the Platform. Continued use of Backmart after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or a prominent site notice.
